EMG Pickups Question...?

SO its my birthday coming up. I stuck between choosing 2 guitars:

ESP EC-1000 Deluxe (EMG60/81)

Epiphone 1984 Explorer (EMG85/81)

The thing is i want the Metallica sound. I know James Hetfield uses
the 60/81 (the ESP), BUT I prefer everything else about the Epiphone,
its shape, style, price!

Is it hard to get a Metallica sound with 85/81? Is the 85 in the
bridge better than the 60 for rhythm??
So which one to go for?????????? Thanks.
